The liebig condenser can be attached directly to the still head and used as a stand alone pot still for stripping runs. This still comes with everything you see in the photos except the kegs. It comes with the necessary clamps & gaskets. No modifications to your beer kegs are necessary to use this kit. This still is capable of producing 170 proof at a rate of 2 gallons per hour. Stainless steel kegs or kettles will retain heat much better than copper pots, causing the still to run faster and be much more stable during operation. This setup uses our 2" pot still along with our beer keg thumper attachment. This still will run up to 3 gallons per hour as a pot still (120-140 proof) and 1-2 gallons per hour when run as a reflux column (150-180 proof).Ī proven traditional still design made with modern equipment. If you choose not brazed, some fitting may be required. If you have us braze the ferrule, we also drill the stops out of the condenser tees so you don't have to buy an expensive drill bit. The stainless steel ferrule can not be soldered and must be silver brazed or TIG welded which requires special skills and equipment, so we have given you the option of having us braze it or you can do it yourself. Also included is the fully assembled flow control kit and cooling hoses, clamp and gasket, digital thermometer and copper mesh packing. The kit comes with all copper parts pre-cut and ready for assembly. We do not use cheap, thin walled Drain Waste Vent (DWV) pipe on our stills. Made with heavy gauge type L copper pipe. Check photos to see finished product. Column is 34 inches long. This kit is for building our 2" cooling management still column.
